No Debt or Budget Adjustments this Christmas

Even though we've never gone in debt for Christmas, we have found Oct-Dec budgets to be tight to fit it all in. Then we still feel like we are spending more than we want so last year we decided what would be a good cushiony (is that even a word?!?) amount to have at Christmas time and divided it by 52 weeks and in January began a Christmas fund. You have to be disciplined not to ever dip into it but it sure makes for Christmas shopping fun when you have the cash in hand and the fall budget doesn't even feel it!
