More than enough

This week we saw the Lord's hand of provision bless us once again. He never fails in providing for all our needs and then some. A few weeks ago our dryer broke. Jeff and I have wanted to replace our used set that has given us almost 8 years now but we were definitely not ready right now. We weren't sure what to do but decided we were going to spend the $300 to just get it fixed and wait another year to replace the set. However, a friend of a friend offered to sell her gently used washer/dryer to us that had been in storage for a couple years for $100! So we took it! I'm amazed at how the Lord opens up doors.

Jeff's salary is partly based upon commission and the lumber business is getting hit hard with the economical situation. Again, we weren't sure how this year would look becuase his salary this year is based upon last year's business. Yes, yet again, the Lord provided the money we were hoping for and a little bit more to cover our expenses this year. Each year he meets our financial goal and then some. This year includes replacing our windows in order to make our home more energy efficient and building up our savings so we have a plan B. We are hoping a small family vacation will be part of that but we aren't sure.
