I have a recipe that can be modified in all kinds of varieties that I would love to share! Tonight I made wild berry crisp....
5 cups wild berries (fresh or frozened...thaw)
1 pouch of oatmeal cookie mix
1/2 c cold butter
Put berries in a 2qt baking dish (I like to use a rectangle or square dish). Cut in butter to oatmeal cookie mixture to make crumbly. Pour cookie mixture over berries. Bake 30 min at 375 degrees.
Other variations...
peaches/oatmeal cookie mix
peaches/yellow cake mix
apple filling/spice cake mix
cherry pie filling/chocolate cake mix

I always keep some type of ingredients on hand for when we have an urge for dessert or I need a quick thing to make for an outing.
